Patricia Gibson
Prince George Public Library Librarian
Prince George
I've worked at Prince George Public Library for many years, first as the Inter-library Loans librarian and now as Collections Coordinator. As both a former teacher and as a librarian, I mentor many new employees at the adult information desk. My interest in collections is building not only a dynamic collection, but one that reflects and represents the community we serve. I am very interested in how public libraries will adapt and change in future as more physical collections become digitized, old formats die out and AI technology becomes increasingly prevalent.
I am a passionate cook and am profoundly interested in food culture, sustainability, and how not to waste food.
